How Many sessions will I need?
We typically recommend 5 to 12 lymphatic drainage sessions, depending on the area treated, the procedure, and individual recovery rates. Patients undergoing multiple procedures simultaneously (like liposuction and a tummy tuck) may require more sessions than those having a single procedure.
What Does the Treatment Consist Of?
Manual lymphatic drainage uses gentle, massage-like pumping movements to remove excess fluid from the treated area. The treatment is usually smooth and gentle, but some discomfort may occur if the area is sensitive post-surgery.
